DUNE BUGGY SAFARI HALF DAY
Only with Desert Rangers will you be able to experience the thrill of our totally unique single seater Dune Buggies especially designed for the desert. After a short briefing session you will head off on a roller coaster drive through the sand dunes, stopping en route for refreshments. If you feel adventurous enough you will also have the opportunity to lead the convoy during the safari. Our buggies are equipped with full roll cages, bucket seats and safety harnesses for your comfort and safety. For your further comfort and safety we will issue you with a crash helmet and goggles at the start of the safari and a certificate at the end to remind you of your dune buggy experience. If you are under the age of 15 (minimum age to drive) or don't feel confident enough to drive a buggy yourself why not be a passenger in our specially designed two seater buggies. This experience is something you shouldn't miss.
DUNE BUGGY SAFARI AND DINNER
As per the Dune Buggy Safari, enjoy the thrill of driving your own Dune Buggy over the rolling sands of the Arabian desert.
As darkness falls we head towards our Bedouin style campsite where flickering lights welcome you. Relax with some freshly prepared Arabic coffee and dates or with a well deserved refreshment. Meanwhile a sumptuous BBQ meal is prepared for you. After dinner the tempo of the music increases and you can enjoy a genuine Belly Dance show and smoke the traditional hubbly bubbly.
DESERT BALLOON SAFARI
Sample the absolute stillness and silence as you float over the desert, suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow coloured canopy. There's nothing quite as romantic or exciting as soaring skywards in a hot air balloon giving you an entirely different perspective on the Arabian landscape. Watch the ever changing colours of the sand dunes below as they react to the first or last flickers of sunlight.
Whether you take a balloon safari at dawn or dusk this is sure to be a memorable trip. Finish this experience of a lifetime with refreshments on landing. It is advisable to book early as these are popular tours and are subject to weather conditions on the day.
DESERT SAFARI AND DINNER
This is our most popular afternoon safari, which takes you on a rollercoaster drive through some of the highest and most challenging sand dunes in the UAE, to our first stop at a camel breeding farm. After watching the sunset over the desert you will head towards our Bedouin style Arabic campsite in the middle of the desert. There you will have the chance to ride camels, smoke the traditional hubbly bubbly, sample the flavour of Arabic coffee and enjoy a BBQ dinner under the light of the stars. Belly Dancing and Henna Painting are also part of your entertainment.
TREKKING FULL DAY
Take a hike with Desert Rangers! We will take you through the beautiful foothills of the Hajar Mountains and Wadis, where you can experience the wonders of "Jungle Book" or "Hanging Gardens" tracks. The duration of the hikes will depend on the season and the group's general fitness. Lunch can be provided upon request.
